The number of uninsured and underinsured drivers on the road is amazingly high. I know we have customers that complain "why should I pay for uninsured driver?" which is a very good question however the answer can take a lot more room than I have here to explain but lets just say it is a coverage that you SHOULD have on your auto insurance policy.

In our opinion uninsured motorist coverage can be the most important insurance coverage on your automobile insurance policy, and it is usually the least expensive! If you are involved in an auto accident with someone who is uninsured and don't have collision coverage then you just don't have coverage for your vehicle. While the other party may be at fault and responsible for the damages if they do not have insurance how will you get your vehicle repaired? What if there are injuries in the accident, who will pay for those? Yes you can take the "guilty" party to court and probably win but if they don't have the money it may take years for the financial burden you are suffering to be taken care of by that party. The simple solution is to make sure you have uninsured motorist coverage on your policy.
